Thursday
A 4 hour drive and we were in the capital city Vientianne.
Feeling a little worse for wear due to the onset of a funny tummy, we rested in our hotel room after our routine orientation walk around the city.
We had a nice hotel room which was good since we spent alot of time in it.
It was a nice, but not necessarily spectacular, capital city with not a huge amount to do so it was probably the best day for recouperating at the hotel.
Friday
Feeling a little better, we left Laos via the small but perfectly nice airport. We boarded the flying tin can which was Laos Airlines on our way to our next (and second communist) country Vietnam.
I don’t trust any plane that as propellers.
