Final Day in Cusco – 09/12/10

We had an amazing sleep and felt much much better today!!
We headed into the centre of town to visit the impressive Cathedral but apart from that we rested and generally took it easy to make sure we recovered completely.

On the way in to the centre we saw Andrew from our Inca Trail group. It feels sad not being able to meet up with everyone in our little tent sharing stories and jokes.
It was also sad coming to the end of our time in Cusco. It’s a great and beautiful city with an intriguing magnetism.

Plaza De Armas

Our last day at the main square in Cusco.

Inca Wall Cusco

An original Inca wall in Cusco.

On a different note, some people including Lauren (from the Inca Trail), were intrigued about our hand luggage and how we manage to pack everything in, so here is a photo. Sorry its not great, hopefully we’ll take a better one soon!

Our packs completely packed with everything we need.
