Yep, we had an amazing time on our tour with Gap! Overall experience was great! Our tour guide, Mark, was very knowledgeable and a great guy. We got on with him really well. He knew his stuff too!! Very knowledgeable.

In terms of the accommodation, we were really surprised at how good it was. Not sure about you, but ours was a ‘Classic’ tour and we weren’t expecting much out of the hotel/guest rooms. They all turned out really nice, and all were very clean!!

We would recommend Gap, definitely. I think, whoever you go with, it depends on what you make out of the trip. You have lots of freedom and control over what you want to personally do. Don’t feel pressured into being with the rest of the group if you don’t want to be, go out and do what you want to do. It’s a bit of a lottery as to who you get in your group but it’s the same with every tour company. You may find yourselves with really similar people who share the same interests or completely different personalities who you’d normally not spend time with. It’s all part of the experience though!

I’m so glad I came across your blog, my boyfriend and I booked the Indochina Encompassed Tour for December this year, but after reading so many bad reviews online about Gap adventures, I was worried that we might have picked the wrong tour group.

I just have a few questions for you guys. How was your overall experience with Gap? (from your blog, it seems like you both had an amazing time!) Were the tour guides good/knowledgeable/organized? and was all the accommodation fairly clean?
