Bye Bye beautiful jungle swimming pool
Yesterday we left Puerto Iguazu and the tranquil jungle life. Our flight on LAN Airlines was again on time and very efficient. It was also extremely comfortable with the most leg room I’ve had on any airline! This time we had to check in our bags
Boooo! 2-2
Our evening flight arrived in the capital of Argentina about half past eight. Domestic flights are great! You just literally pick up your luggage and walk out the door, no showing passports or going through immigration.
We were dropped off at our hotel/guest house called Lola House, 15 minutes from the centre of Buenos Aires. At first we were unsure we were in the right place since there were no signs on the building to say what it was. The door had security bars and there were no door bells. Finally, a man appeared and asked who we were and what we were looking for. Thankfully we were in the right place and he let us in. After this ominous introduction, he was much more friendly!
When we tried to get to sleep it was hard. We hadcome from the jungle where the soothing jungle noises of crickets and birds send you to sleep. Here we were back in the city with dogs, cars, sirens and general city noise. It didn’t take too long before we were fast asleep and now its morning we look forward to experiecing the delights of this passionate city.
Hello again! Hope you are enjoying my city!! looking forward to reading of your adventures in “Mi Buenos Aires querido”, xx
